Last Call for nominations to serve on your local AORN board!!!

Deadline for submitting your Willingness to Serve form has been extended to June 15th.

Requirement: Must be an active AORN National Membership and Chapter 3001 NH membership.

SECRETARY (1 vacancy) (2-year term 2023-2025)

Ensure accurate records are maintained of the proceedings of all business meetings and affairs of the chapter. Provides newsletter for distribution to members. Convenes chapter meetings in the absence of the President and President-elect. Maintains an up-to-date Community of Practice (ORNurseLink or independent website). This can also be done through a webmaster (if appointed)

BOARD OF DIRECTORS (3 vacancies) (Two 2-year term 2023-2025) (One 1-year term 2023-2024)

Yr. 1 – Responsible for monitoring membership. Welcoming new members.
Contact members whose membership is due to expire.
Yr. 2 – Review Chapter Bylaws and suggest revisions to Board

NOMINATING COMMITTEE (2 vacancy) (One 2-year term 2023-2025) (One 1-year term 2023-2024)

Receives nominations for potential candidates for elected positions and verifies AORN membership status.
Prepares a slate of candidates for open Board of Director positions for annual membership voting.

SOCIAL MEDIA TECH/WEBMASTER (1 vacancy) (2-year term 2023-2025)

Responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram. To build an audience and ensure member engagement. Familiarity with Zoom video communications and virtual conferencing a plus.
