Job Description
Position: High-risk Labor & Delivery (L&D) Unit RN
Delivery Volume: Average of 2,100 deliveries per year.
Care Details
Accept transfer-ins with MFM outpatient consultations.
OB practices and family practice doctors are private entities.
Only family practice doctors have midwife coverage.
Level 3 NICU in the hospital.
Must circulate for C-sections (not LDRP).
Requirements
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH.
Experience Required
Minimum 3 years of experience.
Previous charge nurse experience.
Additional Notes
Epic documentation experience required.
No first-time travelers accepted
Float To Maternity/Mother-Baby Required.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
Unit Systems
Medication, Documentation, Communication Systems: Epic
Orientation Process
Duration: 24 hours.
One day for HealthStream unit assignments
Two days for unit orientation.
Scrubs
Color: Any color allowed.
Facility Guidelines
COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only).
Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only).
